BRITAIN’S BIGGEST TOUR OPERATOR TO LAUNCH TWO NEW HOTELS IN TURKEY
TUI, Britain’s biggest tour operator, is set to launch two new hotels in Turkey, company’s country manager said.
   TUI Turkey Product and Contracts Department Manager Melih Yetis said operator’s new brand Sensimar would open two new hotels in 2010 for high-income customers.
   Yetis also said Turkey has become the second largest destination for TUI after Spain, adding that the operator was planning to increase bookings in Turkey by 15 percent for 2010.

   Galatasaray, the current leader of the league who won all the four games they have played, will take on Besiktas, who want to end their draw series, at the Ali Sami Yen Stadium on Saturday. The challenging game between the Lions (Galatasaray), the team scoring the most goals, and the Eagles (Besiktas), the team that gave in the least goals, will begin at 9 p.m.
  
   DEMOLITION TO START
   Istanbul Mayor Kadir Topbas said river beds would be remediated. Topbas also said that a bitter receipt would be implemented to prevent a new flood disaster. “We will mark the route of the Ayamama brook bed, and then we will demolish anything on that route.”

TURKISH FOREIGN MINISTER ARRIVES IN IRAN
The Turkish foreign minister arrived in the Iranian capital of Tehran early on Saturday.
   Turkey’s Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will meet his Iranian counterpart Manuchehr Motaki during his two-day formal visit to this country.
   Davutoglu is also expected to have talks with President Mahmud Ahmadi-Nejad, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani; Ayatollah Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, the chairman of the Assembly of Experts and the Expediency Discernment Council of Iran; and Saeed Jalili, the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and chief nuclear negotiator.
   The Turkish foreign minister is expected to mainly discuss bilateral relations, regional and international developments with Iranian executives.
   Davutoglu is expected to proceed from Tehran to Mashhad on Sunday afternoon.

  BODY OF PERSON MISSING AFTER FLOOD FOUND IN ISTANBUL TOWN
The body of a person reported missing after the flood disaster in an Istanbul town was found on Saturday.
   Divers of the Istanbul Municipality discovered the body of 65-year-old Nusret Dursun under a viaduct over Karasu brook on Ankara-Istanbul motorway.
   Dursun was one of the four people who was reported missing in the flood that hit Istanbul’ Catalca town earlier this week.
   After Dursun’s body was found, the death toll in Catalca rose to four.
   Efforts are under way to find eight-year-old Ceyda Guder, 65-year-old Gulseren Dursun and her 6-year-old granddaughter Gulseren Dursun.
   Thirty-one people were killed when floods, triggered by torrential rains, swamped a number of houses and business places in Istanbul and the neighboring province of Tekirdag on Tuesday and Wednesday.
